            Abstract

[SAARC needs to expand its vision and be more inclusive and open to establish new linkages. Interactions among private and informal sectors are important. Inter-regional connectivity needs to be enhanced. Tourism should be promoted and public-private partnerships should be encouraged. Efforts are needed to make South Asian a 'Green Economy'. Civil Societies should be provided with more opportunities of interaction. The newer generation holds the key to this desired opening up. Observer countries may be engaged more with an aim to build bridges for future.]
