1. please clarify in the text why Family Budget Survey is abbreviated as IOF instead of FBS

The name in extension I kept in English and the acroynm in Portuguese. My understanding is that this guarantees some originality of the documents and institutions that are referenced in the study. 2. comment no.15 from Alfred Opere: The response “The data in this study shows that when investment increases, access to water and sanitation also increases” should be included in the paper because it is much more compact and clear as a finding that the last sentence which is included just above Table 2. It can be added as an additional sentence

3. Comment no.4 from Seynabou: The author should include the response (on exclusion of the private finance) as a caveat to the objective of the study in the introduction section.
