Abstract

Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en mostrar cómo a partir de 1955, en plena dictadura del general Francisco Franco, los hijos de los militares profesionales disfrutaron de unas condiciones culturales, educativas y sanitarias que no estuvieron al alcance del resto de la población infantil. Entre otros beneficios, se establecieron colonias escolares infantiles, que supusieron un instrumento de promoción social y académica que acentuaba la diferenciación social.

Résumé L’objectif de ce travail est de montrer comment à partir de 1955, pendant la dictature du général Francisco Franco, les enfants des militaires professionnels jouissaient de conditions culturelles, éducatives et sanitaires qui n’étaient pas disponibles pour le reste de la population enfantine. Entre autres avantages, des colonies scolaires pour enfants ont été créés comme un instrument de promotion sociale et académique qui accentuait la différenciation sociale.

Abstract The goal of this work is to show how from 1955 on, during the General Francisco Franco’s dictatorship, the children of professional military men enjoyed cultural, educational and sanitary conditions that were out of reach for the rest of the infant population. Among other benefits, there were children school colonies, which were supposed to be a tool for social and academic promotion that emphasized social differences.
