          Abstract

          Resumen Se estudia la imaginación creadora en los niveles materializado, perceptivo y verbal en niños en edad escolar. Participaron 50 niños de un colegio particular de Puebla, México. Se aplicó un protocolo de evaluación de forma colaborativa e interactiva bajo el concepto de la zona del desarrollo próximo que implica la participación del evaluador y el uso de diversos tipos de apoyo: conversación dialógica, repetición de la instrucción y preguntas de orientación. Los resultados revelan que los niños acceden con mayor facilidad a las tareas de las acciones materializadas y perceptivas que a las verbales. Estos resultados se discuten en términos de las posibles implicaciones que tiene para la edad escolar el desarrollo de la imaginación creadora.

          Translated abstract

          Abstract Creative imagination is studied at the materialized, perceptual and verbal levels in school-age children. Fifty children from a private school in Puebla, Mexico participated. An evaluation protocol was applied in a collaborative and interactive way under the concept of the zone of proximal development that involves the participation of the evaluator and the use of various types of support: dialogic conversation, repetition of instruction and orientation questions. The results reveal that children access materialized and perceptual action tasks more easily than verbal ones. These results are discussed in terms of the possible implications of the development of creative imagination for school age.
