Abstract

Esta investigación aborda dos construcciones de ficción en torno al intento de golpe de Estado del 23 de febrero de 1981. Concretamente dos series proyectadas en televisión en febrero de 2009: 23-F: El día más difícil del Rey y 23-F. Historia de una traición. En este sentido, el presente trabajo parte del supuesto de que la ficción es un instrumento eficaz para reconstruir la historia, así como para renovar la imagen de algunas instituciones sociales.

Translated abstract

This research is focused on two fiction representations of the coup d'état in 1981, February 23rd in Spain. Specifically two series broadcasted in February 2009, namely: February 23rd: King's hardest day and February 23rd: the history of a betrayal. In this way, we assume not only the proposal that fiction is a useful instrument to rebuild historical memory, but also the concern that it is able to renew the perception of some social institutions.
